Robin has been playing the tenor guitar, tuned CGDA, for over 50 years. He is extremely passionate about the instrument. Living on the Island of Barbados, Robin found, at an early age, that the tenor guitar gave him the "musical voice" he was looking for.
Robin's fast rhythmic style became the driving engine behind THE MERRYMEN, often called "The Beatles of Barbados".
It is with great honor that the tenor guitar community recognize Robin's lifetime of playing the tenor guitar.
He becomes the third inductee to the TENOR GUITAR HALL OF FAME, following NICK REYNOLDS in 2011, Rabon Delmore in 2012. CONGRATULATIONS ROBIN!!!!
