Rhythm and Blues Attack!
 
In this workshop we'll learn to use simple single-string licks to provide a sense of rhythm and groove to your playing. Even better, I'll show you how, with the right attack on the strings, it doesn't matter (mostly) what note you play! The goal here is to have fun, build a better internal sense of timing so you can build confidence playing with others, and be more open to playing songs you don't know. We'll also cover some techniques to appreciate the music of Tiny Grimes and the swing blues sound familiar to a lot of 40s–50s recordings.
